INTUITION

Mona Lisa Schulz (1998). Awakening Intuition:

                                          Using your Mind-Body Network

                                          for Insight and Healing

Schulz has her M.D. and PhD in neuroscience and is a "medical intuitive"--with just a person's name and age, on the phone, she can provide specific, detailed, and accurate information about the person's state of health (physiologically, psychologically, and relationally) by "viewing" the person's entire body (inside and out).

this book provides principles, research, and LOTS of personal case studies with individuals she has worked with--i was somewhat disappointed that only the last chapter was devoted to "how to" use your intuition as a medical intuitive.

the basic steps in doing an intuitive reading for self or others--one quiets the frontal lobe via relaxation and/or visualization, focus on the person, treat everthing (words, images, thoughts, body sensations, memories, feelings...) as DATA...write it all down...then later, sort out what is authentic intution and what is projection (one's own "stuff")

we are continuously receiving information via body, feelngs, brain, and dreams...thus, we are all potentially intutives...being intuitive is paying attention to this information and discovering the intuitive messages that light up like the dashboard of a car, telling us, "pay attention," something needs to change.
