AWAKENED WAY

Suzanne Giesemann (2024). The Awakened Way:

                                              Making the Shift to a

                                              Divinely Guided Life.

Giesemann is former US Navy Commander who shifted her life course dramatically after her daughter died from a lightning strike by developing evidence-based communication with nonphysical consciousness.

The first half of the book explains her journey and the rationale behind her perspective, while the second half of the book contains practical activities.

Beliefs

We are both human and soul, i.e., multidimensional beings, part of the big web of everything

the creative/healing force of the universe is love

life does not end after bodily death; consciousness lives on

Practices

discernment

hands on heart, ask, "what do i need to know right now?"

joy beads:

using a string of beads (like a rosary), for each bead, let a person arise in consciousness and say: ____(their name) is an expression of the ____(your name for the divine)

ocean breath:

on the exhale, let awareness with open eyes move out to the objects around you, on the inhale, allow awareness to return to and center in the body

for connecting with nonphysical consciousness

  • breathe slow and steady
  •  relax the body
  • lift (hum, affirmations, gratitude)
  •  expansion (expand aura)
  • surrender
  • shift channel to a specifical awareness by saying "shift"
  •  merge by inviting "come now"
  •  experience by listening and waiting in the spacious sky of awareness... let clouds of the content of consciousness pass and note anything (thoughts, feelings, images, presence) that is unusal and related to the intent to connect with a specific nonphysical consciousness (e.g., angel, spirit guide, loved one that is on the other side of the veil...)...

some signs of connection include: unexpected, strong emotion, unusal body sensation, a "knowing"

see book for details...this is a very abbreviated instruction
