Villoldo is a PhD anthropologist who had a successful academic career before studying 25 years with Inka medicine men and women. He aims to reinterpret the ancient healing practices in ways that we can use to heal the body, mind, soul, and spirit. He proposes 4 levels of luminous energy fields that surround our bodies and 9 chakras (the 8th being above the head and the 9th extending out to infinity)

there are several practices covered, including chakra cleansing, shaman seeing, creating the crown of light and necklace of light to establish intracerebral pathways to the visual cortex of the brain, tracing energy, combusting energies, and extraction techniques.


in the cleansing chara practice, the left hand is placed at the base of the spine while the right hand is positioned 3 inches from the first chakra, spinning counterclockwise 3x with fingertips in a circle...the fingers are rinsed in water...the right hand continues up the spine to the crown, spinning and rinsing at each chakra...then the same spinning and rising technique is used to move back down the spine ending at the first chakra except the spinning while moving down the spin is clockwise.

TURN ON Timothy Leary (1965, 1999). Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out Leary was a University Professor at Harvard who is best know for his experiments with LSD. The book is part lectures, part interviews, and part essays.
