Healer
Chunyi Lin (2019). Born a Healer.
Lin has a very challenging background story of growing up in Mao's communist China...eventually, he ends up in the U.S. and finds forgiveness, healing, and peace. Throughout his life he learns from various Qigong (Chee-gong) masters and develops his own simple style of Spring Forest Qigong which anyone can learn and begin to heal themselves and heal others.
He only has one chapter detailing the techniques of "level one" of his system (there are four levels), but he maintains that this is all one needs. There are three basic movements...one is a standing posture, another posture circulates energy up and down the torso, and the third posture expands and contracts energy around the navel.
The healing others method begins by having the person relax and take deep breaths... breaking up blocked energy using the two-finger sword technique of making circles six inches from the blockage while visualizing light from the fingers breaking up the blockage for up to one minute...next the fingers pull the blockage out of the body and throw it away (not that it is "bad" energy, it's just in the wrong place and needs to be moved outside the body)...adding in healing energy with a pulsing movement of the palm is the final step...altogether, this takes less than five minutes...these details are described in another chapter.
His tag line is, "A healer in every home and a world without pain and suffering."
Lin is the real deal, a life of service...he was born a healer and so are we he says.
The method of moving the chi through the body for harmony and balance has many subtle details...best to read in the book and try for yourself...and if adventurous, try the healing technique for yourself and/or others.
