Steven Pressfield (2022). Put your Ass 

                                         (Where your Heart wants to be).


By "ass" Pressfiled means our physical body, and by "heart" he means what we feel called to do in service of humanity (our passion, our dream, the Japanese use the term "ikigai"-our reason for being). The central advice is to put your physical body in the place where your dream is most likely to happen, where other people are already in the process of realizing the dream...by physically moving to this place, we show commitment, magic happens...we meet co-dreamers, friends who are interested in and willing to support our dream because it is their dream too...we find our tribe and are able to actualize our dream.


Even if we can't move physically, we can put our minds where our hearts want to be AND we can create a sacred space to work without interruption for even one hour a day devoted exclusively to our dream, staying true to our calling, to who we are...in this process we find places to stop, rest, let it go, and continue...we also market to the full spectrum of our work via podcasting, blogging, merch (e.g., t-shirts, posters...), interviews, give aways...we do the work and ship it when we said we would...we invoke and let our higher self/divine help us move past ego in service of humanity conquering fear with LOVE.

SPIRITUAL SOLUTIONS Wayne Dyer (2003). There's a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem. Dyer earned a Doctorate of Education in Guidance and Counseling, and is a prolific author. TURN ON Timothy Leary (1965, 1999). Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out Leary was a University Professor at Harvard who is best know for his experiments with LSD. The book is part lectures, part interviews, and part essays. Given all the media hype about Leary, i was surprised at how much common sense i encountered, and how much he speaks to learning, hope, and love.  He begins with a chapter on how to start your own religion (to invoke the rights of the first amendment in US law) with family and friends, a tribe of people living together in community with their own laws...a place where sacrament is consumed (it need not be LSD, but anything that is spiritually meaningful to the community, something that binds the community together in ceremony)...a place preferably in nature where one feels protected and nurtured.  The BIG ADVICE is to drop out of society's robot world/mind, and turn on to God/Goddess (the Spirit), nature, and the body and mind, and tune in (dropping back into socie...
