Multisensory Human

Kathy Callahan (2005). Multisensory Human:

                                       The Evolution of the Soul

Callahan (PhD in Anthropology from Purdue) was a naval officer for 20 years, and wrote several books. This book is not a practical book (it appears that one of her other books, "Living in the Spirit, Applying Spiritual Truths in Daily Life" may be more pragmatic).

Callahan uses religion, science, and metaphysics as frameworks for exploring the themes of devolution and evolution in reference to humanity, culture, and spirituality.

The key idea of a multisensory human is one with 2 senses beyond the conventional 5...the 6th being imagination, and the 7th being intuition.

There are 2 types of evolutionary processes: micro and macro.

On the micro level, we are spiritual beings created by G to be co-creators, our soul is eternal, our bodies have devolved from spirit, the mind mediates body and soul, and meditation can assist in evolving back to source via the ideas of becoming a multisensory human.

On the macro level, we are experiencing changes in culture, and these chances are anticipated in prophecies from astrology, the Buddhist wheel, bible, Great pyramid of Giza, Myan and Hopi cultures, and the Edgar Cacye readings. Note that the prophecies are contextualized by a "Niniva factor," that prophecy is created under certain conditions, and as these conditions and our choices as humanity change, the prophecies may also change.

For a practice, consider all the ways you are evolving in mind, body, and spirit...if evolving is too strong a term, think of growing...what specific intentional practices do you regularly engage in for evolving/growing in mind, body, and spirit? if you don't have any practices, how can you explore and adopt some practices that don't require more than 5 minutes a day (in the beginning) to "test out" to see if they have any efficacy (books, videos, google, AI, wise people).
