Morter is a chiropractor who learned about healing from her Dad, then she developed her own system called the "energy codes."
the big idea is to facilitate a quantum flip, from a narrow protective personality to a soulful self (i like to think of this as reorienting from the little s of self to the big S of Self--actually, it's both, we don't loose the little s, it gets integrated into the big S, but i'm not sure she would agree with me).
the core practice combines breathing with squeezing different parts of the body in a central channel that begins above the head, moves down behind the eyes, throat, chest, solar plexus, gut, and mula banda (root), all the way into the earth...breath in from top of head to chest, squeezing each point along the way, then exhale out while tightening the mula banda, following the energy into the earth...inhale up from the earth while tensing the mula banda up to the solar plexus, then exhale up squeezing the chest, throat, and behind the eyes, following the energy out above the head...this is one central channel breath.
this kind of breathing has many benefits, including pulling painful areas of the body into the main channel and redirecting them into the ground...any time one experiences negativity, contraction, excess reactvity, etc in the body, "squeeze" that area and say: i see you there, i acknowledge you, then breathe that area into the central channel to dispurse and move the energy out of the body.
there are many practices associated with each of the chakra points...i did one activity each week before moving to the next to integrate them, and i still do the central channel breath and tension-squeeze technique multiple times a day.
