OUTRAGEOUS OPENNESS

Tosha Silver (2014). Outrageous Openness:

Letting the Divine Take the Lead

Silver is a journalist and astrologer, a life long student of metaphysics and yoga. The book is organized as a series of short 2-3 page stories drawn from her personal experience that support an attitude embodied by a process that we need to invoke every day: offer up EVERYTHING to God, expect that the perfect path is already chosen and will manifest at the right time and place through circumstances that the Divine has already chosen, then let go, detach from any specific outcome (including people and organizations that we believe are connected to the solution to our issue), and look for signs, breadcrumbs on the path, and follow them in faith and trust...this process is what Silver means by being "outrageously open to the Divine"...she write with abandon, humor, style and aplomb...

books like this need to be read a bit at a time...i read one chapter (2-3 pps) every morning for a 16 days in a row (only a little over two weeks)...each time i wrote my response at the end of the chapter on how her experience and teaching is relevant to my life...i found many helpful insights, perhaps you will too?
