HEALING

Raymon Grace (2003). The future is yours: Do something about it!

Raymon is a healer that advocates a simple healing method: relax the body and quiet the mind into an alpha state, set an intention to heal along with a visualization of the positive outcome desired...that's it! He says, "...If you can relax your body and mind enough to focus your thoughts, and use vivid visualization, you can perform miracles!" (p.2). For those skeptical about these healing methods, i point to his phrase, "...If we do nothing, nothing happens, but if we do something, then something might happen" (p.27). So, what's to loose in trying?

To create the alpha brain wave state [there are devices to measure one's brain waves to confirm that one is in a state of alpha, but Raymon maintains that we don't need these, you'll simply feel relaxed in body and centered in mind--i agree] for healing, Raymon recommends a relaxing visualization that brings all the senses into play like: feeling the gentle lapping of water coming in (on the in  breath) and going out (on the out breath) at the seashore [see image below], hearing the sound of the waves and seagulls, feeling the wind and sun on one's face and body, smelling the seaside fragrances, tasting the salt air. The intention and positive visualization go together. For example, if someone has inflammation in the feet and their feet feel like they're on fire, the healer might imagine water dousing out the flames rising from their feet, or ice melting the flames. The important part is that the visualization be the positive outcome that one desires for the person. The relief should be immediate in most cases. Note that the healer is the channel, the support for the other person's healing; in the end, the other person heals themselves.

If one technique doesn't work, then try another, or try at another time, or have a different person try the healing method. He maintains that these methods don't always work, but that they work a majority of the time, and he provides case study after case study of healings that he and others have done using these techniques.

He also has a section on dowsing near the end of the book which he favors now as a healing method. Dowsing is not magical, it's simply a tool that expresses the subconscious or intuition of the person. The dowsing instrument keeps the mind busy doing something so that the intuitive message can come through. Instructions for beginner dowers are recommended in a pdf file called a letter to Robin by Walt Wood: http://miamidowserschapter.org/Letter-to-Robin.pdf
